Pierre-David is an applied mathematician and experienced C/C++ developer, specializing in fast algorithms, optimization, computational science, and statistics. He is pursuing a Master’s of Liberal Arts in Computer Software Engineering from Harvard University.

Pierre-David holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Statistics from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mathematics from McGill University. With a robust background in numerical linear algebra, signal processing, machine learning, scientific computing, and data analysis, Pierre-David bridges the gap between theoretical, computational, and practical applications. Currently, he serves as a Principal Engineer at Qualcomm, where he leads the development of innovative low-complexity algorithms and mentors junior engineers. Prior to this, he held significant roles at Reservoir Labs, contributing to technical algorithm R&D and business development. Pierre-David has also authored several patents and publications in the fields of signal processing, imaging, and numerical optimization.
