Shanshan Qin is a postdoctoral fellow who is broadly interested in the information processing and organizing principles in the nervous systems. Prior to join Pehlevan group,  he received his PhD degree in condensed matter physics from Peking University. During his graudate study, he explored various problems at the interface between physics and biology at the Center for Quantiative Biology. Before that, he received a B.S. degree in Physics in 2012 from Central China Normal University at Wuhan. Shanshan also enjoys badminton, hiking, swimming, cooking and Chinese Calligraphy.
